COVID-19 case rises to 128 with 9 new cases, 6 more discharged today in Dima Hasao
Haflong, July 03, 2020 : With 8 new COVID-19 new cases today and 1 new case yesterday, the total case rises to 128 today in Dima Hasao district of Assam.
Meanwhile 6 patients have been discharged today after they tested negative.
At present, the total case stands as 128. Out of which 98 patients were discharged so far, while one is outside of the district. So, those still in active case are 28 as per DIPRO information.
In her COVID -19 Update today, 3rd July ’20 at 11:30. A.M, DIPRO Purabi Phonglo said, ” 8 (Eight) new COVID-19 positive cases today and 1 (One) yesterday. Of the total reported positive 2 (two) are of repeat test and rest 6 (six) are new cases of the test done under Assam Targetted Surveillance Program (ATSP) for frontline worriers and other high risk services such as transport, petrol pumps, markets etc.
She added, saying, “2 – Male ** Repeat Test from Laisong Home/Community Quarantine. 5 – First time test under ATSP at Manderdisa Police Outpost ( Male). 1 – First time test under ATSP at Diyungbra Block ( Male). 1- Male from Boys’ Higher Sec School, Haflong (swab test result derived yesterday).Age group between 21 to 43 years”, she added.
Later, in her Discharge Update today 3rd July 2020 at 10:00 P.M., she said, “6 people discharged from isolation ward at Haflong Civil Hospital after testing negative on repeat test”.
